Annotatsiya

This work is dedicated to a comprehensive analysis of the history of the origin of Zoroastrianism, one of the world’s oldest prophetic religions. The article examines the socio-economic and cultural prerequisites for the formation of this teaching in the territories of Ancient Iran and Central Asia. Particular attention is paid to the personality of the prophet Zoroaster (Zarathustra), his religious reforms, and the process of transition from the polytheistic beliefs of the Indo-Iranian tribes to a dualistic system of worshiping Ahura Mazda.
