So‘nggi yillarda atmosferada issiqxona gazlari miqdorining ko‘payishi tufayli yer havosining harorati tobora ko‘tarilmoqda. 2011-2020 yillar insoniyat tarixidagi eng issiq o‘n yillik bo‘ldi. 1980 yildan beri harorat har yili ko‘tarilib, issiqlik bilan bog‘liq kasalliklarning ko‘payishiga va ochiq havoda ishlashda qiyinchiliklarga olib keldi. Anormal issiqlik natijasida o‘rmon yong‘inlari juda tez boshlanadi va tarqaladi. Global isish natijasida tabiiy ofatlar soni ham sezilarli darajada oshdi, chunki havo haroratining oshishi havoda ko‘p miqdorda namlik ko‘tarilishiga olib keladi va suv toshqini ko‘payishiga olib keladi. Ushbu turdagi toshqinlar odamlarning uylariga katta zarar etkazadi va katta iqtisodiy yo‘qotishlarga olib keladi. Iqlim o‘zgarishi har kuni toza suvga bo‘lgan talabni oshirmoqda.
