This article presents a historical analysis of the formation and development of the state youth policy in Uzbekistan during the years of independence, focusing on the case of the Surxondaryo region. The study outlines the legal framework and practical outcomes of the social incentive system for talented youth in the region, specifically examining the establishment of the State Award named after Zulfiya and the “Mard O‘g‘lon” (“Brave Son”) State Award.
