This article analyzes current trends in the field of cybersecurity. Today, the stable and protected operation of data transmission networks, computer systems, and mobile devices has become a fundamental condition ensuring the efficiency of public administration and the economic stability of society. The security of public core information systems is directly affected by numerous factors: cyberattacks, disruptions resulting from external physical impacts, software and hardware failures, and human errors. The events discussed in this study clearly demonstrate the extent to which modern society has become dependent on (determined by) the stability of information systems.
