One of the important characteristics that determine the quality of the finished product is moisture. The most promising direction is optical hygrometry, the basis of which is the property of water to absorb infrared radiation of a certain wavelength.The presence of absorption lines characteristic of water in the mid-IR optical range allows the development of instruments for a wide variety of materials required for moisture measurement.
