This article presents the modern achievement of thermoelectric generators using semiconductor materials. Particular importance on the use of thermogenerators, their implementation in medicine, which has recently become an urgent task of modern medicine. Thermogenerators in medicine are used to power implantable devices, monitor body temperature, administer medicinal liquids to the human body, due to thermal properties, and also affect human acupuncture points. This article discusses the inherent characteristics of semiconductor materials used to manufacture thermogenerators, and also provides their advantages, disadvantages and prospects for use in medical devices and instruments.
