This paper discusses a method for detecting objects in histological images using template matching technique. The basic principles of this method are reviewed, and the approach and algorithm used to detect objects in histological images is presented. In addition, the prospects for using this method in medical diagnostics related to the analysis of histological data have been practically tested.
