The article deals with the development of the necessary management conditions for modeling the processes of optimal management of water resources of the main canal. Algorithm for numerical solution of boundary conditions for hydro-technical facilities, side intakes and hydroposts on canal sections and their numerical solution has been developed. The method and algorithms proposed in the work allow modeling of channel sections using a system of differential equations for unsteady flow of water.
