This article proposes a method and algorithm for solving a transportation problem in a fuzzy environment. This method is easy to understand and use, allowing for finding optimal solutions to real-world problems in fuzzy transportation models. The article also obtains an optimal solution to a fuzzy transportation problem using a fuzzy triangular number. The effectiveness of the resulting solution will contribute to the further improvement of organizational and production structures and parameter values for urban passenger transportation logistics systems. Developing an algorithm for solving a transportation problem in a fuzzy environment will help construct a geometric programming model that will enable more accurate solutions to real-world problems with fuzzy data. Geometric programming will find wide application in communication systems, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, design and optimization of structures, chemical engineering, optimal control, decision making, machine balancing, analog circuits, design theory, transportation, finance and monetary sciences, management sciences, electrical engineering, electronics, environmental engineering, and nuclear engineering.
