Annotatsiya

The article describes the psychophysiological mechanisms of reading development in ontogenesis. Scientific research is presented that confirms the connection between brain plasticity and reading, as well as the development and functioning of brain regions responsible for reading formation. Brain plasticity involves changes in neural systems for oral speech and visual information processing to mediate written language. The study demonstrates the relationship between the quality of maternal shared reading (verbal interactivity and engagement) and brain function in preschool children while listening to stories, in the context of behavioral data.
