This article explores the transformations of Islamic bioethics as traced by the author since the early 2000s. Particular attention is paid to the shift from traditional philosophical, religious, and juridical theorizing to an institutionalized and clinically–oriented form of bioethics. The study emphasizes that even previously conservative sчolars have come to recognize Islamic bioethics as an independent discipline. The article reviews current directions, new figures, and theoretical models that present Islamic bioethics as an integral part of the global bioethical dialogue. It further demonstrates how the legacy of classical Muslim authors (al–Ruhawi, al–Razi, Ibn Sina) is being reinterpreted in contemporary clinical and educational contexts.
