In the face of emerging threats such as military conflicts in the Middle East, there is an urgent need for security and cooperation in countering terrorism. Despite heightened interest from researchers and policymakers in the issue of terrorism, there is a scarcity of publications dedicated to counter-terrorism strategies and measures in the Middle East, primarily focusing on Western countries. In this context, the relevance lies in ensuring protection within the region. A key aspect of global security is the collaboration between the United States and the European Union in combating international terrorism in the Middle East. This article explores the strategic and political aspects of cooperation, along with the achieved results, allowing for a more detailed examination of Western countries' interaction in the context of counter-terrorism and its impact on the Middle East. The article not only highlights successful aspects of cooperation but also draws attention to the challenges and difficulties faced by Middle Eastern countries. This research provides deeper insights into the dynamics of relationships and the effectiveness of measures taken in the context of ensuring security and combating terrorism in this strategically important region. Its significance is expressed in the topicality of the theme and the identification of significant issues related to terrorism and regional security.
