This article is devoted to the topic “The historical significance of the sport of Kopkari”, and analyzes the ancient roots, stages of development and the cultural heritage of our national sport that has survived to this day. Kopkari is one of the national games that reflects the courage, dexterity, teamwork and competitive spirit of the Uzbek people. This study highlights the role of Kopkari in social and cultural life, the importance it has acquired among the people, as well as its changes in different periods.
