Each district of every region has its own customs, traditions, and culture. Likewise, theMiyonkol oasis possesses beautiful customs and a rich culture that have been passed down from ourancestors through the ages and continue to this day. It is true that nowadays we are increasingly becomingEuropeanized. As a result, our customs are also modernizing. Nevertheless, I believe that we are managingto preserve our identity and national character. This article presents information about the mourningceremonies practiced in the oasis.
