The article examines Francis Bacon's thoughts on socio-historical processes, problems of history and personality, features of political institutions, and issues of ensuring their functioning under the rule of law. In Bacon's socio-historical and political views, there are themes that have not lost their importance for the present time. Bacon's moral-philosophical heritage contains ideas that can be used in the formation of a new generation with knowledge and high spirituality, necessary for the current era. The essence and importance of these ideas are revealed in the article, they are analyzed from the point of view of the socio-educational tasks facing our society.
