In the modern era, the rapid development of the tourism industry has had a significant impacton nearly all sectors of the global economy, particularly on the international hotel services market.This process is primarily characterized by the introduction of innovative ideas and technologies, as well as the emergence of new approaches aimed at ensuring environmental sustainability. Oneof the key trends observed in tourism in recent years is the development of hotel services based onecological principles — the concept of eco-hotels. An eco-hotel is an establishment whoseactivities are not only focused on providing high-quality service to guests but also on minimizingenvironmental impact, using natural resources efficiently, saving energy, reducing waste, andimplementing recycling practices. In developed countries such as the USA, Germany, Sweden,Japan, and Singapore, eco-hotels have become widespread, and their activities are activelysupported by governments.
