In this article, the role of mass media in the life of the state and society in the society of Uzbekistan, in its short years of independence, in the history of independent and New Uzbekistan, its development trends and legislative reforms in this regard, as well as the development of a democratic society and the period of rapid reforms and important aspects of creating a competitive system are considered.
