The article examines the main features of the foreign experience of state regulation of public employment as a model for use in Uzbekistan. Problems in the field of employment arising in economically developed countries, ways to solve them and possibilities of using these experiences in different countries are studied. The purpose of the article is to analyze the main directions of the state regulation of employment in foreign countries and to develop scientific recommendations for its use in the state regulation of population employment in the republic. Based on the research conducted on the experience of foreign countries, the main directions of ensuring the effectiveness of state regulation of employment are given.
