The article analyzes the composition, distribution and utilization level of regional tourism resources using Jizzakh region as a case study. Natural-recreational, historical-cultural, health-improvement and rural tourism resources are classified, the state of existing infrastructure is examined, and evidence-based proposals on priority directions for regional tourism development are formulated on the basis of SWOT analysis.
