Annotatsiya

This article examines the teaching of English writing as a productive speech activity. It discusses the relationship between writing mechanics and written communication, including spelling, grammar, text organisation, and the expression of ideas. The article outlines key stages of writing instruction and considers controlled practice, communicative tasks, feedback, and assessment. It argues that effective writing instruction should progress from basic skills to independent text production and be integrated with reading, listening, and speaking.
