Diabetes mellitus, commonly referred to as diabetes, is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by high blood glucose levels. This paper explores diabetes through a mathematical lens, using differential equations and compartmental models to represent glucose-insulin interactions. Graphical simulations are provided to illustrate the behavior of blood sugar levels in diabetic and non-diabetic individuals. Furthermore, we present models for the progression of the disease and how effective management strategies, such as insulin therapy and diet, can be optimized using mathematical tools.
