Methodological analysis of the integration of quantitative and qualitative indicators in assessing the social mood of the population

Annotatsiya

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the theoretical and methodological foundations, and also the system of modern indicators for measuring the social mood of the population. Within the framework of sociological research, the author focuses on the interpretation of fundamental concepts such as “social mood”, “social self-perception”, and “subjective well-being”, while conducting a comparative study of priority approaches in the sociology of CIS countries and the West. The study reveals the specific aspects of using quantitative and qualitative analysis methods in determining the psychological state and social expectations of the population. Furthermore, a system of indicators for assessing social mood is scientifically grounded based on the synthesis of reputable international indices and local experiences. The conclusions drawn at the end of the article hold significant practical importance in forecasting socio-political stability and developing effective public policy.
