The influence of standing density, fertilizing and irrigation criteria on the growth and development of cotton varieties KHOREZM-127 and KHOREZM-150 Annotation

Annotatsiya

One of the most cotton growing areas is the Khorezm oasis. The oasis includes Khorezm region, the southern part of theRepublic Karakalpakstan, the north-eastern part of the Republic Turkmenistan. Farming in the oasis is mainly carried out onsoilsfarmed in the alluvium of the Amudarya. It should be noted that this oasis, due to it's climate (desert zone) radically differentfrom other regions of the Republic (except Karakalpakstan). Spring comes late, autumn comes early. Therefore, cotton growingin this oasis requires fast-ripening, high-yielding, disease -resistant, water- consuming,high-quality raw cotton varieties. In the nearfuture "Khorezm 127"; "Khorezm 150" cotton varieties that meet these requirements will be created in the Khorezm branch oftheUzbek cotton Research Institute. The next task is to develop their agrotechnology for the cultivation of high-quality raw cottonfrom these varieties.
