The sorption of malachite green (MG) from aqueous solutions by polymer composite gels (PCG) prepared on the basis ofpolyacrylic acid and bentonite clay (BG) was studied. It has been established that the introduction of 50 wt.% BG into thepolymer gel leads to an almost threefold increase in its sorption capacity. The sorption of dye from aqueous solutions by sorbentswas analyzed using the Langmuir and Freundlich models.
