This article presents the development of an improved seed mixerdesign for the working chamber of the 5LP linter machine. The technological featuresof the cottonseed delinting process and the performance of existing seed mixerdesigns were analyzed. The movement of cottonseed mass inside the workingchamber was investigated, and a new structural solution was proposed to improve theinteraction between the seed mass and the saw cylinder. The proposed design isexpected to provide a more uniform seed distribution, increase delinting efficiency,reduce energy consumption, and improve the operational reliability of the machine.
