The article analyses the volume, geographical sources, transfer channels and economic significance of labour migrants’ remittances to Uzbekistan. The research is based on secondary statistical data from the World Bank, IFAD and the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Comparative, statistical, dynamic and structural analysis methods are applied. The findings indicate growing remittance volumes, gradual geographical diversification and an increasing share of P2P transfers. The study argues that transforming remittances from current consumption into savings, investment and entrepreneurial activity is an important condition for strengthening their contribution to sustainable economic growth
