Today, globalization and the rapid development of information technologies in the field of mass media are contributing to the expansion of the media space on a global scale. This process has resulted in the increasingly pervasive integration of mass media into all spheres of social life and has demonstrated their comprehensive and multifaceted nature. At the same time, integration processes are intensifying competition among media organizations for audience attention. In this context, mass media are striving to make effective use of the opportunities provided by various digital platforms. In particular, television is seeking to retain and expand its audience through streaming technologies. This article examines the concept of streaming and its major advantages in the contemporary media environment
