Annotatsiya

The Renaissance and Modern Age were key stages in the development of the concept of democracy, laying the intellectual, political, and social foundations for its subsequent formation. These periods were characterized by profound changes in worldviews, social structures, and political institutions. Renaissance thinkers not only reinterpreted the ancient heritage but also proposed new forms of governance over social processes. The Reformation also contributed to the democratization of public consciousness. The Age of Enlightenment marked a significant stage in the development of democratic ideas: the Enlightenment proclaimed the idea of natural, inalienable human rights to life, liberty, property, and resistance to oppression. The Modern Age became a period of profound transformation in all spheres of life, not only in European society but also throughout the rest of the world
