RESEARCH ON THE EFFICIENCY OF A SOLAR POND WITH A FLAT REFLECTOR

Annotatsiya

This article presents the results of a study conducted to determine the thermalefficiency of a solar pond device in the city of Kashi. Experiments were conducted with and withoutsolar reflectors to increase the concentration of solar energy on the surface of a 25% saline solarpond. Collecting solar radiation energy and converting it into useful thermal energy is an importantfactor in the operation of a solar pond. The temperatures of the lower zone of the solar pond withand without reflectors were 46 °C and 52 °C, respectively. In the course of the research work, thepossibility of increasing the energy efficiency of the lower convective zone of the solar pond to 6-8%using solar reflectors was scientifically justified based on the experimental results
