The article examines the stylistic features of synonymy in the Uzbek and English languages. Synonyms play a crucial role in thelanguage system, enhancing the expressiveness and emotional impact of speech. Using examples from Uzbek and English, the stylisticfunctions of synonyms, their areas of application, and their roles in speech styles are analyzed. The pragmatic significance of stylisticsynonyms is also discussed in the article.
