The article analyzes the objective features of crimes committed with the involvement of artificial intelligence (AI) and substantiates thatAI serves as a highly dangerous intellectual tool of crime. It is proven that civil liability alone is insufficient to address the damage causedby AI. Furthermore, the paper provides a criminological study of trends such as cyber-theft, deepfake fraud, and the "dropper" syndrome.As a result, it proposes the introduction of special liability norms into the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan concerning actscommitted using AI, as well as the preparation stage for crimes in the digital environment.
