Gamification as an innovative approach in teaching foreign languages

This article discusses using gamification in education, its concept, components, advantages, and disadvantages. It clarifies how game elements such as points, badges, and leaderboard enhance learners’ motivation and involvement. The article also emphasizes the teachers’ role and demonstrates that gamification is able to develop the learning process when it is implemented appropriately.
