The article will focus on the literary text and the text of the specialty language, which performs teaching, cognitive, communicative functions, forms speech and language competencies and is the organizing principle in teaching Russian as a foreign language. In the process of working on the text of the specialty language, students develop special speech skills and abilities that they need to communicate in the educational and professional sphere.
