The work analyzed the results of surgical treatment of 5247 patients for various forms of cholelithiasis. Bile leakage and bile peritonitis in the postoperative period were observed in 93 patients due to “minor” injuries (aberrant hepatocystical ducts of the gallbladder bed - Luschka ducts, leakage of the cystic duct stump, loss of drainage from the common bile duct) and damage to the main bile ducts (“major” injuries. ) Improvement of treatment and diagnostic tactics in patients with bile leakage after cholecystectomy made it possible to significantly improve treatment results in the main group, where complications in the immediate postoperative period amounted to 8.1%, in the long-term period - 5.4%, mortality was not observed (in the comparison group - 17.8% and 14.2%, respectively, mortality - 3.6%).
