Integrating national-cultural code into english language teaching: developing intercultural communicative competence in uzbek universities

Annotatsiya

This article examines the development of intercultural communicative competence in students through the integration of the national-cultural code into English language teaching. Drawing on the context of Uzbek higher education institutions, the author explores the pedagogical foundations, methodological possibilities, and practical outcomes of incorporating national cultural elements into language instruction. The study provides a theoretical justification for the role of the national-cultural code in fostering readiness for intercultural communication and presents experimentally tested methodological recommendations.
