The article is focused on the analysis of current trends in the practical use of artificial neural networks in a variety of aspects of human life. It gives a definition of a neural network, which is an important computer tool that is usually used to solve a specific range of practice-oriented tasks, based on the use of incoming information and simulating the work of the human brain. Outlined the experience of applying neural networks in different areas. Determined the general set of functions created by neural networks. Discussed types of neural networks, as well as their architectures system.
