Pelvic inflammatory diseases (PID) remain a pressing problem in gynecology to this day, being the most common gynecological diseases and the most common cause of infertility in women. According to domestic authors, in the structure of gynecological morbidity, inflammatory diseases account for 60-70% and up to 30% of hospitalized women. Extremely important from both a medical, social and economic point of view is the high prevalence of inflammatory diseases among young women. Infertility is considered the most painful problem in the reproductive health of the population in Uzbekistan, which is due to low birth rates and the widespread spread of inflammatory pathologies of the pelvic organs.
