The article presents the results of a study on the implementation of the"University 4.0" educational model at Minin University (Nizhny Novgorod) in the context oftraining personnel for the low-carbon transformation of the economy. The research methodologyincluded a comprehensive analysis of educational activities, research work, digitaltransformation and interaction with industrial partners. The results revealed that only 14.3% ofthe university's educational programs include modules on low-carbon topics, and the volume ofextra-budgetary funding from industrial partners is only 8%. Specific mechanisms are proposedto strengthen the university's role as an integrator of educational initiatives in the field of lowcarbondevelopment, including the creation of a Regional Competence Center and thedevelopment of interdisciplinary educational programs.
