In this article, the development stages, operating principles, and advantages of smartsprayer technologies that enhance the efficiency of crop protection in agriculture are analyzed. Comparedto conventional sprayers, modern smart sprayers improve spraying accuracy, increase economic efficiency,reduce pesticide consumption, and minimize negative environmental impacts. During the literature review,sensor-based, automated, and artificial intelligence–based systems developed by foreign researchers overdifferent years were examined. According to the research results, smart sprayer technology plays animportant role in sustainable agricultural development, and its integration with systems such as IoT, GPS,AI, and computer vision has been identified as a promising direction.
