This article presents the development, implementation, and technical-economic evaluation of an improved quality management system for controlling devices in testing laboratories. The study proposes a quality management model based on a systematic approach in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 international standard, aimed at standardizing and automating laboratory processes. The existing measurement instruments, calibration procedures, and risk assessment and management algorithms within laboratories were thoroughly analyzed. The research results led to the creation of methodologies for monitoring the performance of devices, reducing measurement uncertainties, and establishing a safe laboratory environment. The proposed model contributes to improving the accuracy, repeatability, and reliability of test processes and significantly enhances laboratoriesʼ readiness for international accreditation. The research utilized modern approaches such as metrological support, device monitoring based on information technologies, risk assessment via the FMEA method, and control modules grounded on SCADA systems. Additionally, the efficiency of the developed system was simulated using MATLAB and Python platforms and validated in real laboratory conditions. The improved quality management approach proposed in the article enables laboratory digitalization, minimizes human error, extends equipment service life, and ensures efficient use of resources. The outcomes of this research serve as a scientific and practical foundation for optimizing all stages of laboratory activities, ensuring compliance with international standards, and increasing technical and economic efficiency
