The aim of the work is to study the patterns of formation of hydroxylammonium oligomers based on hexahydrosymtriazine with epichlorohydrin. The paper studies the interaction patterns of the alkanolamine hexahydrosimtriazine type - N, N', N'-tris (β-oxyethyl) hexahydro-S-triazine (THOHST)with epichlorohydrin (ECH). The reaction between TOEGT and ECH occurs at a noticeable rate, already at 0 oC. An increase in the reaction duration leads to a symbate increase in the molecular weight values, the concentration of hydrolyzed chlorine, a decrease in the content of epoxy groups, and the concentration of hydroxyl groups do not change within the experimental error. An increase in temperature leads to an increase in the molecular weight of the products, a decrease in the concentration of epoxy groups in the reaction mixture. The resulting oligomers are thermosetting resins, the viscosity of the reaction mixture after completion of the synthesis is 4000-4500 mPa·s, after 2 days the oligomer passes into a brittle transparent glassy mass. Conducting the synthesis at 45 oC leads to an excessively violent reaction. The mass foams, lose the ability to dissolve and melt. The structures of the synthesized oligomers were studied by IR, PMR and NMR13C methods. A combination of physicochemical methods, elemental analysis, and spectroscopic studies allowed us to conclude that the product of the interaction of hexahydrosymtriazine and epichlorohydrin is a hydroxyl-containing quaternary ammonium base. The physicochemical properties of the synthesized onium oligomers were studied.
