The article discusses the problem of washing wool during its processing. The process of washing unprocessed wool consists of immersing the wool in a solution in a barrel with a nemt, moving it along the barrel, removing it from the barrel, and passing it through rollers to remove the wool. The research focuses on the movement and forces involved in the wool washer, the design of its main parts, the methods for cleaning and pressing wool, and how well the machine works. A theoretical study of wool movement in the wool washing machine was conducted. As a result of the theoretical research, we found out how wool moves in the barge based on the shape and movement settings of the machine, and we identified the best settings for the wool washer. The best lengths for the running comb and speed were found, which keep the wool moving smoothly without piling up at the bottom of the barge when mixed with washing solutions, leading to the final measurements for the running comb and the barge’s speed.
