This article analyses and studies the scientific experience of countries with developed important agricultural and agro-industrial sectors. Many proposals and recommendations have been developed for utilising these experiences in regions with significant potential for agricultural sector development, ultimately enhancing the country's livestock sector. Additionally, the scientific approaches of researchers who studied the geographical aspects of livestock sector development have been examined, providing a detailed description of the impact of natural and economic factors on the industry's growth. The work has developed proposals and recommendations on the use of scientific approaches, analysis and results of research from countries such as the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Brazil, Argentina, and the Netherlands for the development of the sector.
