This article presents a comprehensive assessment of the quality of laboratory diagnostic services (LDS) in the Khorezm region within the context of national healthcare reforms in Uzbekistan. The study analyzes current issues, quality indicators at pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical stages, as well as optimization strategies through digitalization (laboratory information systems), implementation of ISO 15189, and laboratory centralization. Based on regional data and literature, the necessity of a unified quality management model is demonstrated to increase objectivity, reduce errors, and improve economic efficiency. The results confirm the promise of the proposed measures for the Aral Sea region.
