This article analyzes the current system of remuneration for civil servants based on the Unified Tariff Scale.A comparative assessment of tariff grade distribution across ministries and agencies is conducted, and its institutionaland economic implications are evaluated. Drawing on international experience, the study proposes evidence-basedrecommendations to improve the tariff system through a competency-based and differentiated model aimed atstrengthening institutional sustainability
