The article presents data on destructive pneumonia of the lungs, which is often considered as a complication of pneumonia in children, and experimental modeling of this pathology in laboratory outbred rats, its results and morphological characteristics in dynamics. Studying the clinical and radiological parameters of destructive pulmonary pneumonia in children is important for the successful treatment of this disease and improving the quality of life of patients. There is sufficient data in the scientific literature on the clinical parameters of bacterial destructive pneumonia of the lungs. However, in case of pulmonary bacterial destructive pneumonia, there is insufficient data on the pathological, pathomorphological processes occurring in the lungs and pleura, without these data it will be impossible to extrapolate the results of experimental modeling to humans and scientific research in this direction will be required.
