This article is an attempt to identify and analyze the patterns and opportunities of development of Uzbekistan and the prospects for expanding the scope of international relations. The most prominent norms of the system of WTO law are also considered. There are also given a revealing interpretation of the norms of the WTO agreements and a picture of the globalization of this organization as a product of the live interaction of states according to the general rules established by the WTO. One of the considered questions is how the accession to the WTO as a measure to enhance the country's participation in international relations will contribute to the improvement of the economy and to the growth of the competitiveness of production in the sectors of the economy.
