This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of alternative financing of investment activities in theeconomy of Uzbekistan. The author substantiates the importance of modern financial instruments such as crowdfunding,venture capital, “green finance” and Islamic financing, in addition to traditional sources, in stimulating investmentprocesses. Also, the current legal and regulatory framework, institutional environment and investment infrastructure inthe country are studied, and scientific and practical proposals and recommendations are developed to improve them. Theresults of the study indicate the possibilities of effective use of alternative financing mechanisms to increase the stabilityof investment activities, attract private capital and ensure economic growth.
