This article examines the global environmental challenges emerging in the early 21st century, including climatechange, air pollution, soil degradation, and the loss of biodiversity, alongside the growing human concern for ecologicalsecurity. It analyzes the trend of replacing destructive and anti-ecological approaches in economic activity with innovativeenvironmental technologies in the context of ecological placement tools. The concept of ecological innovations is definedas a set of technological solutions aimed at protecting the environment from negative ecological factors.
