This article examines the poetic expression of philosophical thought, the problem of existence, in modern English. By the end of the 20th century, British literature had moved from social realism to the poetics of thought. In this, all means served to reveal the complexity of the human condition. This article analyzes the disclosure of issues such as human inner experiences, self-awareness,choice, loneliness using various means. Various analytical methods are used throughout the study.Focusing on the works of Kazuo Ishiguro, Julian Barnes, Ian McEwan, and Martin Amis, the study examines how themes such as the fluidity of memory, the subjectivity of time, moral responsibility, and the inevitability of death are represented through innovative literary techniques. The research demonstrates that in contemporary British prose, existentialism is not merely a thematic layer but is embedded within the very "poetic" fabric of the narrative, utilizing the "unreliable narrator" and "temporal fragmentation" to reflect the ontological uncertainty of the postmodern era.
